Event to offer introduction to Girl Scouts
A “Painting and S’Mores” event for all current Girl Scouts and girls interested in learning more about Girl Scouts will be held 6-7:30 p.m. tonight at Grace Lutheran Church, Fairmont. Early Risers set Wednesday meeting
Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. The program will feature Jessica Korte, Martin County Auditor/Treasurer. The public is invited to attend.
Fairmont class of 1955 to meet
Fairmont High School class of 1955 will meet 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont. All classmates are encouraged to attend.
United Methodist slates Wednesday supper
Fairmont United Methodist Church will host a supper from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The menu will consist of scalloped potatoes and ham, green beans, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donated desserts and beverages. A donation of $2 is suggested. Everyone is welcome.
Tractor association to hold meeting
Prairieland Antique Tractor Association will meet 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Acres in Fairmont. The public is welcome.
Blood drive set for Friday in Elmore

Martin Luther to hold annual benefit
The public is invited to celebrate the 37th academic year of Martin Luther High School at the “Mission Possible” Benefit Knight Dinner on Saturday at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., with a catered dinner served at 6 p.m. The menu includes: roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, glazed carrots, cranberry/almond coleslaw, desserts and gourmet coffee. A 2005 alum, the Rev. Luke Anderson, will be the guest speaker, while the group “Hit Ticket” will provide musical entertainment. Tickets are $60 ($40 is tax-deductible).
