Exchange Club to meet today

Fairmont Exchange Club will meet noon today at Green Mill Restaurant. The program will feature Tom Helligso and partner, regional Exchange Club officers from Omaha, Neb. Early Risers to hold Wednesday meeting

Early Risers Kiwanis Club of Fairmont will meet 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Ranch Restaurant, Fairmont. Featured this week will be Kathleen Perry and Erik Walker, teachers and coaches at Fairmont High School, who will discuss the speech and debate teams. The public is invited to attend.

United Methodist schedules picnic

Fairmont United Methodist Church will host its fifth annual multi-block party and picnic from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Park in Fairmont. The menu will consist of the usual picnic fare, desserts and beverages. Everyone is welcome.

Aktion Club Theatre sets Thursday meeting

Aktion Club Theatre, part of Kiwanis International, will meet 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday in the basement of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. The public is invited to attend any of the group’s theatrical practices.
