Eagles to hold Thursday supper

Eagles Auxiliary will sponsor a beef or turkey commercial supper from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Fairmont Eagles Club, 1228 Lake Ave, Fairmont. The cost for a full meal is $8 per person, while a half meal costs $5. Take-outs are available by calling (507) 238-2555. Proceeds will help the American Cancer Relay for Life. Everyone is welcome.

Workshop planned at Grace Lutheran

Community Transition Interagency Committee will sponsor a Pacer workshop “ABCs of the IEP for Transition-Age Students and Their Parents” from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 S. Grant St., Fairmont. The workshop was previously scheduled April 11 but was cancelled due to inclement weather. Pre-register at PACER.org/workshops or call (800) 537-2237.

IHD slates craft-vendor show for Saturday

Interlaken Heritage Days Spring Craft & Vendor Show will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Five Lakes Centre in Fairmont. Thirty vendors will be on hand with a variety of handmade crafts and goodies. Also, the crowning of Little and Junior Miss and Mister will take place beginning at 11 a.m. The IHD committee will have lunch available for purchase.

Ruby’s Pantry plans food distribution

Ruby’s Pantry, a community food outreach program, will hold a food distribution from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday at East Chain Evangelical Free Church, 507 280th Ave., rural East Chain. There are no income or residency guidelines. Ruby’s Pantry is funded by the $20 cash donation per participant for operational costs. Bring two large boxes or laundry baskets for the food. Myeloma group to hold meeting

Fairmont Area Multiple Myeloma Support Group will meet 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in the main classroom at Mayo Clinic Health System-Fairmont. A light lunch will be provided. Patients, caregivers, family and friends are welcome to attend. For more information, call Joyce Schultz at (507) 230-0207.
