Sportsman Club sets shooting event

East Chain Sportsman’s Club will hold a trap shoot event beginning noon Sunday, April 21, at the club located a half-mile north of East Chain on 254th Avenue. They will be shooting practice rounds, then 16-yard and 25-yard Oakley’s and Boondocks. The grill will be on all day. For more information, contact Moby at (507) 236-4189. Everyone is welcome.

Bowl-a-thon planned Sunday in Fairmont

A muscular dystrophy bowl-a-thon will be held noon Sunday, April 21, at Bowlmor Lanes, 617 South State St. in Fairmont. Four-person teams ($20 per person) will bowl three games of 9 pin, no-tap. Pajama Storytime Monday at the Library
