Welcome church to hold bakery event

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 214 N. Dugan St., in Welcome will hold its Christmas Goodies Bakery and Cafe from 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday. All are invited to attend.

St. Paul’s women to sponsor bake sale

Ladies of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Truman will hold a bake sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Truman Community Building. Proceeds will go toward organ repairs. All are invited.

Cantata rescheduled for Sunday in Fairmont

A cantata “Christmas Carol Celebration” that was scheduled for last weekend will now be held 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 319 Downtown Plaza, in Fairmont. All are welcome to attend.

Huntley church to host Christmas event

Community Covenant Church of Huntley, 31323 170th St., in Huntley will host a Christmas gathering on Sunday. The event will begin at 5:15 p.m. with refreshments and fellowship. Dinner will be served 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation by Theater for the Thirsty: Jeremiah and Vanessa Gamble performing their original musical “A Misfit Christmas.” There is no charge for this event but seating is limited so reservations are required by calling Julie at (507) 525-4949 or by leaving a message, including your name and phone number at (507) 866-4646.
