MCW faces Pipestone in 3AA game

WINDOM — The No. 4-seeded Martin County West Mavericks girls basketball team squares off against the No. 1-seeded Pipestone Area Arrows tonight in a 6 p.m. Section 3AA, South Sub-Section semifinal game in Windom.

The winner between the Mavericks and the Arrows advances to face the winner between the No. 2-seeded Redwood Valley Cardinals and the No. 6-seeded Jackson County Central Huskies in a 6 p.m. sub-section championship on Tuesday night at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall.

Jaguars host Bulldogs in 2A tipoff

NORTHROP — The No. 6-seeded Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain Jaguars boys basketball team plays host to the No. 11-seeded Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs tonight in a 7 p.m. Section 2, South Sub-Section play-in game at Martin Luther High School in Northrop.

B.E. Area hoopsters net No. 2 seed

BLUE EARTH — The Blue Earth Area Bucs boys basketball team earned the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Section 2AA, South Sub-Section tournament.

Blue Earth Area plays host to the No. 7-seeded Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights in a 7 p.m. sub-section quarterfinal on Monday night in Blue Earth.
