Just follow the money To the Editor: People may wonder why President Biden is continuing to violate the Constitution, his oath of office, and numerous immigration laws. It may be a matter, as Hillary once said, of just following the money. With approximately 250,000 illegal immigrants coming across the border each month at an average of $6,000 per person that the human traffickers charge, the total sum they collect each month is about 1.5 billion dollars. Hope to emulate your integrity To the Editor: It can be easy to opine that the country is going to crap. Political venom comes at us from every angle. Violence and lack of respect for each other creates many talking points. I believe I left my wallet at a HyVee self check-out. Probably never know for sure. The individual who brought it to the nice folks at customer service chose to remain anonymous. Thankful for generosity To the Editor: I moved to Minnesota in January of 2022 with expectations that were clearly just in my head. Shortly after moving here, reality set in and I found myself and my 12-year-old son in a not so good situation. My employer gave me the name and number to The Shepherd’s In. I called Curt Moeckel and he has been helpful in so many ways. He helped me get moved from Welcome to Fairmont.
