WELCOME — During the Welcome City Council meeting on Tuesday, Mayor Dan Schmidtke said the school building has been sold and he expected some demolition soon. After delay, road work to start in Faribault CO.

BLUE EARTH— Construction on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 19 is now scheduled to begin on May 11 according to Denny Wick of the Faribault County Public Works Department. “Road conditions caused a delay in the start of the road work,” Wick told the Faribault County Board members at their meeting on Tuesday. “There were six or seven soft spots in the road that we ended up digging out.
