Your presented concept for a Martin County Community Center, by rejuvenating the SMEC Building, was well thought-out and effectively presented at the Fairmont City Council meeting. Announcing Hay Day VBS To the Editor: Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug. 6, Christian Church of Fairmont is having an amazing FREE event for kids, 3 years old to kids graduating 5th grade. It will be two days of worship, learning, fun, crafts, and food. Our theme this year is Hay Day “Growing in Friendship With Jesus!” On Friday, we will start at 5:30 p.m. with a free meal for the kids and we will be done for the night at 8 p.m. On Saturday, we will start at 9 a.m. then a lunch before the afternoon where will have a bouncy house set up and games and songs for a fun celebration ...
