CEYLON — A Cribbage Tournament begins at 1:15 p.m. today at the Welcome at the Legion Hall. All Cribbage players in the area are welcome to join them for an afternoon of fun. The registration fees are reimbursed as prizes. They play on the second and third Saturdays until Spring. Plan to join them.

The Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will have its usual communion service at 5:30 p.m. tonight. They meet on the first and third Saturdays. They also have a Bible Class at 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday. Area residents are welcome to join them for these events.

The Lake Belt Bar and Grill will have their Horse Races and Meat Raffle at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 15.

The Ceylon Fire Department Relief Association will have a Pancake Brunch from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the banquet room in the back of the Lake Belt Bar and Grill building in Ceylon. The menu includes pancakes, French toast, sausage, ham, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. The cost is a free-will donation to help purchase equipment. If anyone cannot attend but would like to donate, a donation may be mailed to Box 201 Ceylon, Minn. 56121. Checks should be written to the Ceylon Fire Relief Association. Please be generous. They hope to have another brunch on March 9.

The Martin County West School students will have no school on Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of President’s Day. There will be no mail delivery that day and some businesses may be closed for the holiday.
