Community Day auction planned today

CEYLON — Today, April 15, is the large Community Day Auction in

Ceylon beginning at 8:30 a.m. using two or three rings all day, with many garage sales being held also. Just a reminder to treat other people’s property with respect. There are many people in town who are visiting but there are people who live in town and have private property here. There are maps of the garage sales available, just ask. There is a rummage sale in the back room of the Lake Belt Bar and Grill with proceeds going to the non-profit group, Helping Hands of Ceylon. The bar will be serving but the grill will not be used. There are several food vendors ready to serve. Enjoy bargain hunting in

Ceylon today.

Congratulations to former Ceylon resident, Joel Thiesse, and his bride, Gloria Martin, they are celebrating today. Also, congratulations to longtime Ceylon resident, Jack Schultz, who turned 85 years old on April 7.
