Preschool registration beginning

TRUMAN — Truman High School trap team meat raffle begins 6 p.m.Friday evening at Aardvarks in Truman.

This is National FFA Week and the Truman FFA has been busy all week long with dress up days, egg Olympics, FFA pancake breakfast, and ending with a formal dance at 7 p.m. on Saturday evening. The dance is sponsored by the student council.

Truman Public School preschool registration for three and four-year-olds begins Tuesday. The staff are professionals in early childhood development. Most importantly, they will provide a pleasant environment that promotes your child’s growth of self-esteem and

Graduating seniors of Martin County high schools who plan to pursue a bachelor’s degree in an agricultural-related field may apply for up to $8,400 in scholarships. In partnership with the Agricultural Future of America (AFA), The agri-business committee of the

Fairmont Chamber of Commerce is offering two $4,200 scholarships which includes registration for the fall 2022 AFA leaders conference. To be considered for a scholarship, visit www.agfuture.org/scholarships. Click on the ”apply now” button to access the application. Please note: you must continue through the last page of the application, and you will receive an email confirmation. Applying for an AFA community scholarship online also makes you eligible for an AFA national leadership and academic scholarship; however, you may only receive either a local or a national award.
