Donations needed for parade
TRUMAN — Sunday is the Fourth of July. So, as we celebrate our nation’s independence, lets thank those who have served and sacrificed for our nation and, second, lets respect one another. We won’t always agree, but we can always approach our differences with open minds and the willingness to listen to our fellow Americans.
Truman City Hall will be closed Monday because of Independence Day.
Trinity Lutheran Church invites all senior citizens to gather at 8:30 a.m. every Tuesday for coffee, rolls, and friendship.
Donations are still needed to help fund the annual Truman Days parade. The parade is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. Please help put on the parade by sending your donation to Truman Days Parade, P.O. Box 34, Truman, MN 56088. Your sponsorship and/or donations are sincerely appreciated. Truman Days parade is funded separately from other Truman Days activities. Because of your sponsorship or donation, Truman has been able to put on a nice parade that has been enjoyed by many in the area.
