CEYLON — Area churches have in-person services following COVID protocols. The Circle of Faith congregation at St. Peter Lutheran Church will have 8:30 a.m. services on Sundays. Our Savior’s Lutheran Church continues their services at 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert has services at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. Area residents are welcome to join these congregations for worship.

Condolences to the family of Ardith Heupel, who died in January. Some of the family has Ceylon connections. She is missed.

Some area restaurants have opened for in-person dining. Please call to make sure your favorite is open and that there are COVID protocols being followed. Think local businesses when shopping or for entertainment.

Sherburn Theatre is open this weekend with the movie “News of the World” sponsored by Hawkins Chevrolet. Cost is a free will donation.

They are showing the film at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Another opportunity to support local businesses.
