CEYLON — The month of December has started and Christmas plans

for area churches are formulated. If anyone is interested in Christmas Eve services for the Circle of Faith churches please call

the church office at (507) 728-8259. There will be no Christmas Day services for the Circle of Faith parishes. The congregation at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will have Christmas Eve services at 5:30 p.m. The dual congregation at St. Paul’s in Wilbert will not have services on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and Pastor Reimer’s open house is also cancelled. Our Savior’s will not have Christmas Day services. COVID-19 has reared its ugly head again. Stay safe and stay healthy.

The women’s group at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will not have their special Christmas social where they usually invite area congregations. They will have a small gathering of LWML members

and the ladies from the congregation only. There will be no craft and bake sale. The ladies are asked to consult the bulletin and newsletter for plans on the gathering.

Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Ceylon City Hall.

Due to COVID restrictions, face masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed.
