Coffee hours wrapping up in Ceylon

CEYLON — Tuesday coffee hours for October will be held 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn.

October is the last month for these coffee hours until April 2020. Join friends and neighbors for a morning of good brew and fellowship.

Also, Ceylon’s coffee lovers group meets 8:30-10 a.m. each Thursday at Legends 2 for coffee and fellowship. They hopefully plan to continue throughout the year.

A Red Cross blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome. Give the gift of life, give blood.

To make an appointment or for more information, call (800) 733-2767, go online to redcrossblood.org or text BLOODAPP to 90999.

The need is great because of the storms lately, so give if you are able. Every two seconds someone in the USA needs blood.

Other upcoming blood drives scheduled are on Nov. 4 at Martin Luther High School in Northrop or Nov. 11 in Sherburn.
