Dance to aid firefighters

WELCOME — Welcome Fire Department Relief Association will sponsor a benefit dance for the fire department on Saturday at the Welcome Legion Hall.

Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. Steve Lang and Bob Petrowiak will play your favorite country and western music.

The suggested donation is $5 per person, and they would appreciate any larger donation since the cost of equipment and training is more now.

They are one of the top first responders in Minnesota. They assist with the Martin County Fair, Martin County West gymnastics meets and the Welcome Summer Festival.

Plan now to attend the dance. If you are unable to attend, donations can be sent to the Welcome Fire Department Relief Association at Box 373, Welcome, MN 56181.

They thank you for your generous support.
