Operate vehicle with expired registration — Rosemary A. Baum, 60, of Fairmont; fined $115.

Fail to drive with due care-speed greater than reasonable — Zachary R. Schleininger, 26, of Buffalo Center, Iowa; fined $125.

Chantelle M. Wegner, 34, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of perjury-in any writing under oath; fined $17,223, restitution $17,223, five years supervised probation, sentence to service eight days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution of $100 per month, don’t leave Minnesota without court approval, complete aftercare as recommended, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional felony charges of perjury-in any writing under oath, theft-wrongfully obtaining assistance by false statements, concealment or impersonation, were all dismissed.

Robert A. Ebert Jr., 35, of Fairmont was convicted of check forgery-offer/possess with intent to defraud; fined $2,011.28, restitution $2,011.28, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution before fees, fines and surcharges, complete diagnostic assessment if recommended by probation agent, cognitive skill training if recommended by probation agent, no same or similar, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Ariel E. Clausen, 30, of North Mankato was convicted of issue dishonored check-offense; fined $414.48, restitution $414.48, sentenced to jail 17 days, credit for time served 17 days, pay restitution.

Jason J. Mau, 52, of Truman was convicted of receiving stolen property; fined $85, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation. An additional felony charge of insurance fraud-diverts/embezzles funds in connection with insurance transaction was dismissed.
