Jared Ruiz, 19, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a charge of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $410, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, pay for and complete comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.

Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100. Also convicted of driver/owner allows open bottle; fined $100. Also convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle-less than 1.4 grams; fined $50. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.

Elena C. Chobu, 31, of Bricelyn was convicted of public nuisance-accumulation of debris; fined $135. Also convicted of public nuisance-animal waste; fined $50.

Also convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $585, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete comprehensive assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel. Additional charge of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours was dismissed.
