Melinda A. Walker, 38, of Albert Lea received a stay of adjudication on a charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200, one year unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

Hernandez, Jr., 18, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service eight days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete comprehensive assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, complete post-sentence investigation, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations of assessment if assessment is requested by agent, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, cognitive skill training if requested by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Jesse W. Houfer, 42, of Alpha was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $30.
