Christopher J. Delaney, 40, of Madison Lake received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail seven days, credit for time served seven days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, chemical dependency evaluation/treatment and follow recommendations of evaluation, complete chemical assessment, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, cognitive skill training if requested by agent, obtain employment, maintain employment, remain law-abiding, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Harroun, 43, of Winnebago was convicted of check-forgery-offer/possess with intent to defraud; fined $285, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 310 days for two years, credit for time served 55 days, two years unsupervised probation, pay restitution, restitution reserved for 30 days, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law. Additional charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent was dismissed.
