Elvia Reyna, 48, of Fairmont was convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; fined $685, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 305 days for two years, credit for time served 37 days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment only if there is any use of mood-altering drugs or alcohol during probation, continue to attend individual therapy on a regular basis and follow recommendations with fines and fees to be credited for any out-of-pocket expenses, continue working with Martin County Human Services adult mental health and follow all recommendations, probationary Domestic No Contact (DANCO), may gather personal belongings from the property only if accompanied by law enforcement, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, remain law-abiding, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.
Micah S. Price, 37, of Clear Lake, Iowa was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $175, sentenced to jail 126 days, credit for time served 126 days. An additional felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were both dismissed.
Dominic D. Hill, 27, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety; fined $300, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.
Angel Lopez Castro, 23, of Fairmont was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, no Minnesota drivers license, and open bottle in motor vehicle, were all dismissed.
Oscar E. Patlan Ochoa, 27, of Truman was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $135.
