Driving after revocation — Allen D. Boomgaarden, 54, of Fairmont; Ryan A. Driehorst, 38, of Blue Earth; each fined $285.

Driving after suspension — Terno Q. Narruhn, 28, of Fairmont; fined $285.

Failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle — Jorge A. Paz, 26, of Fairmont; fined $285.

Ryan A. Jensen, 40, of Rush City was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $85, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Two additional felony charges of counterfeiting of currency-manufacturing and printing, and counterfeiting of currency-means for false production, and misdemeanor charges of counterfeiting of currency-uttering or possessing, identity theft-transfers/possesses/uses identity of other person, and sale/possess/explode/advertise/use fireworks, were all dismissed.

Dustin R. McDonald, 36, of Welcome received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,185, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, three years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer was dismissed.

Larae Kim F. Rahm, 44, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of theft by swindle; sentenced to jail 45 days, stayed 45 days days for five years, jail sentence will be stayed as long as restitution has been paid within 30 days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, pay restitution, cognitive skill training if directed by agent, participate in individual counseling until discharge is recommended by therapist, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, write letter of apology to the Play4ACure organization within 30 days of sentencing and present to agent for approval, obtain employment, maintain employment or become enrolled in post-secondary education, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Michael A. Houston Wheeler, 29, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $100, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 10 days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, make contact with Fairmont felony office in person within 24 hours of sentencing and provide updated contact information including phone and address, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, obtain employment, maintain employment, provide list of prescribed medications to probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.
