Failure of driver to stop at stop sign or stop line at entrance to thru highway — Jerome S. Miller, 79, of Ceylon; fined $135.

Luke S. Thompson, 42, of Fairmont received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $585, sentenced to jail 18 days, credit for time served 18 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer within 24 hours of being released from inpatient treatment, follow all recommendations from most recent chemical dependency assessment including entering into and successfully completing inpatient treatment, follow all recommendations for care and aftercare and discharge recommendations from treatment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, cognitive skill training, obtain employment, maintain employment, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited was dismissed.

John P. Dunigan, 46, of Fairmont was convicted of hands free law-access video content/images/games/software applications; fined $135. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.

Bennie W. Lemley, 53, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle; fined $25.
