Ronald J. Madsen, 62, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $575, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 359 days for one year, credit for time served six days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of aiding an offender (harbor or conceal) to avoid arrest was dismissed.
Justin C. Hatfield, 40, of Ceylon was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $385, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Hiedeman, 41, of Blue Earth received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $375, one year unsupervised probation, no assault or disorderly conduct, obey all laws and be of good behavior, remain law-abiding, no same or similar.
