Arbor Day celebration April 24 at Lincoln Park

FAIRMONT — The City of Fairmont Park Department invites all to the annual Arbor Day Celebration at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, at Lincoln Park in Fairmont. The program will feature a short performance by St. John Vianney (SJV) Catholic School fourth-grade students. Two trees, a Magnolia and a Triumph Elm, will be planted with city staff and students.

In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Public Works Facility, located at 801 East Margaret Street in Fairmont, with tree planting to take place at a later date.
