Matthew A. Bartz, 36, of Blue Earth was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed three years, sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served 10 days, remaining jail time may be waived if chemical dependency assessment is completed within 30 days, three years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations including treatment and aftercare, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, no mood-altering chemicals, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete mental health screening and follow all recommendations including medications if prescribed, domestic abuse counseling/treatment, out-of-pocket expenses may offset fines, no contact with victim(s), no violations of an Order for Protection or No Contact Orders, complete cognitive skill training as directed by agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, do not register to vote or vote until discharged from, probation and civil rights are fully restored. Also convicted of domestic assault-subsequent violation; sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, credit for time served 10 days, remaining jail time may be waived if chemical dependency assessment is completed within 30 days, two years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment within 30 days and follow all recommendations including treatment and aftercare. Two additional felony charges of third-degree assault-substantial bodily harm, and domestic assault by strangulation, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia-use or possession prohibited, were all dismissed.
Adeline E. Lande Burtt, 36, of Blue Earth was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on streets or highways; fined $460, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Also convicted of open bottle law-possession; fined $100. Additional charges of speeding, and failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, were both dismissed.
Savannah S. Wight, 38, of Winnebago was convicted of front and rear license plates required; fined $115. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
Martha I. Morgan, 50, of Winnebago was convicted of trespass-return to property within one year; sentenced to jail 12 days, credit for time served 12 days. Additional charge of trespass-premises of another-refuse to depart was dismissed.
