Samuel A. Johnson, 24, of Wells was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, complete chemical assessment and follow all recommendations, attend MADD impact panel, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.

Justin K. Morris, 24, of Plainview received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail eight days, credit for time served eight days, three years supervised probation, complete Rule 25 chemical assessment within 30 days and follow recommendations, no mood-altering chemicals, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if been charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored.

Selmer H. Nordaas, 68, of Bricelyn was convicted of violation of HRO; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no contact with victim(s), no violations of an active civil/criminal No Contact Order, no violations of harassment restraining order, no same or similar. Additional charge of harassment-follow, monitor or pursue another was dismissed.

Joe A. Garcia, 32, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $185, six months unsupervised probation, no assaultive or disorderly conduct, no same or similar.
