Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Nicholas D. Johnson, 39, of Frost; fined $110.

Expired registration — Terry G. Hicks, 61, of Winnebago; fined $115.

Window tint violation-less than 50 percent light transmittance — Chad Robert L. Bonin, 19, of Blue Earth; fined $135.

Disorderly conduct-brawling or fighting — Emily Mae Browne, 26, of Winnebago; Ian B. Jordan, 26, of Winnebago; each fined $185.

Uninsured vehicle-owner violation — Brian L. Schlager, 30, of Fairmont; fined $285.

Efrain J. Trujillo, 18, of Blue Earth was convicted of possession of marijuana in motor vehicle-over 1.4 grams; fined $235. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia-use prohibited; fined $50.

Daniel P. Johnson, 30, of Blue Earth was convicted of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $85, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 352 days for one year, credit for time served 13 days, one year unsupervised probation, abide by all conditions in case file.

William O. Anderson, 65, of Delavan was convicted of careless driving; fined $385. Additional charge of failure of driver to stop for a stop sign was dismissed.

John W. Sorensen, 42, of Easton was convicted of failure of driver to stop for a stop sign; fined $135. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Jon C. Spatenka, 54, of Ellendale was convicted of careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, comply with all requirements of the Minnesota DMV/DPS/DVS, complete eight-hour driver improvement defensive driving course and pay all assigned fees and provide verification of completion to the court, no same or similar. Additional charges of hit and run property damage (driver required to stop), unsafe passing on shoulder of road, and CMV violation-possession of alcohol, were all dismissed.

Justin P. Crowe, 32, of Wells was convicted on a felony charge of domestic assault; fined $585, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 21 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Two additional felony charges of third-degree assault-victim under four, and domestic assault by strangulation, and a misdemeanor charge of child endangerment, were all dismissed.

Travis J. Burns Sr., 39, of Winnebago was convicted of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served one day, can do STS for credit on fine while in jail
