Failure to wear seat belt while in a motor vehicle — Courtney L. Schultz, 29, of Trimont; fined $110.

Expired registration — Steven L. Zwiefel, 56, of Truman; fined $115.

Possession of drug paraphernalia — Ryan P. Donnelly, 35, of Fairmont; fined $135.

Underage alcohol consumption — John W. Crowley Rosenberg, 20, of Fairmont; fined $185.

No Minnesota driver’s license — Antonia Gracia de Rivera, 55, of Fairmont; fined $185.

Donald J. Beran, 60, of Madison, Wis., was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,085, five years supervised probation, complete chemical assessment within 90 days for sentencing, follow recommendations of evaluation, complete diagnostic assessment within 90 days of sentencing and follow recommendations for care and aftercare, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, provide proof of prescribed medication to supervising agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, don’t register to vote until discharged from probation and civil rights are fully restored. Additional charges of speeding, possession of small amount of marijuana-no remuneration, and possession of drug paraphernalia, were all dismissed.

Joseph J. Belaski III, 39, of Blue Earth was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, attend MADD impact panel and pay costs, complete chemical assessment, follow all recommendations of evaluation, follow all conditions set forth in probation agreement, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if change address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of fourth-degree driving while impaired, operate motor vehicle while under influence of alcohol, and open bottle violation, were all dismissed.

Robert L. Hamsmith Jr., 45, of Ringsted, Iowa, was convicted of disorderly conduct; fined $185, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar.

Ryann D. Kuehn, 36, of Waite Park was convicted of give peace officer false name/birthdate/ID card; sentenced to jail 90 days, credit for time served 90 days.

Michael D. Oltman, 71, of Granada had a charge of issue dishonored check-offense continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.

Jacob R. Robasse, 37, of White Bear Lake was convicted of theft; fined $555, restitution $470, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 365 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay restitution within six months, write letter of apology and provide to probation agent for approval, attend live counseling sessions with a licensed therapist
