FAIRMONT – Megan Elizabeth McDermott and Blake Dean Potthoff were married July 18, 2015, at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont. Pastor John Heille officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Karen McDermott of Melbourne, Fla., Missy McDermott and Jeff Cope of Marshalltown, Iowa, Neal and Dawn Potthoff of Dunnell.

Maid of honor was Hannah McDermott of Collins, Iowa, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Dunn, Dialaura LeFebvre, both of Omaha, Neb., Chelsea Ehlert of Fairmont, Chelsey Shumski of Bismarck, N.D., and Ciara Marshall of Mankato, all friends of the couple.

Flower girl was Abigail Dillard of Viera, Fla., niece of the couple.

Best men were Lucas Potthoff, Bryan Potthoff, and Logan Potthoff, all of Dunnell, all brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Cameron Hanson of Bismarck, N.D., Collin Dwyer of Eagan, and Morgan Melton of Faribault, all friends of the couple.

Ring bearer was Logan McDermott of Collins, Iowa, nephew of the bride.

Guests were ushered by Alex Cope of Marshalltown, Iowa, brother of the bride, Nicholas Dorschner of Mankato, Talon Nelson of Sherburn, and Trent Swanson of Spirit Lake, Iowa, all friends of the couple.

Music was provided by Sandra Krumholz, organist, and Alyssa Dickhoff and David Baxter, soloists.

A reception was held at the Fairmont National Guard Armory.

The couple live in rural Fairmont.
