FAIRMONT – Laura Schmidtke and Ethan Teveldal were married Aug. 2, 2014, at United Methodist Church in Fairmont. Pastor Anthony Fink officiated.

Parents of the couple are Terry and Cindy Viesselman, Patricia Teveldal, all of Fairmont, Douglas and Laurna Schmidtke of Chaska, and the late Bruce Teveldal.

Maid of honor was Rochelle Blair of St. Cloud, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Schmidtke of Chaska, sister of the bride, Natalie Van Note of Fairmont, friend of the bride, and Missy Viesselman of Fairmont, sister of the bride.

Personal attendant was Carrie Rapaport of Los Angeles, Calif., friend of the bride.

Flower girl was Emersen Jackson of Fairmont, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Theron Teveldal of Fairmont, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Darin Kilcoin of Woonsocket, S.D., cousin of the groom, Nic Harris of Fairmont, friend of the groom, and Alec Baca of Billings, Mont., friend of the groom.

Ring bearer was Evan Williams of Swea City, Iowa, cousin of the bride.

Guests were ushered by Nathan Schmidtke of Shakopee, brother of the bride, Dustin Reutzel of Fairmont, brother-in-law of the groom, Ben Davison of Fairmont, friend of the groom, and Aaron Jorgenson of Fairmont, friend of the groom.

Acolytes were J.T. and Sam Viesselman of Fairmont, brothers of the bride.

Attendants to the guest book were Neysa Reutzel of Fairmont, and Kendra Teveldal of Apple Valley, sisters of the groom.

Reception host was Kari Janssen of Inver Grove Heights, cousin of the bride.

Music was provided by Missy Viesselman and Dr. Scott Burtis, soloists, and Ann Wehner, organist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Fairmont National Guard Armory.

The couple lives in Fairmont.
