CREST “Lunch & Learn” coming to Fairmont

The next CREST Lunch & Learn program will take place 11a.m. Monday, November 13th at at the CREST office, located at 820 Winnebago Avenue in Fairmont. This month will feature Joyce Peterson showing pictures of her trip to the North Shore this summer. A brunch menu will be served following the presentation. If you would like to attend this program please RSVP the CREST office at (507) 235-3833. This activity is open to anyone in Martin County and a free-will donation is always welcome.

It’s Poppy time again

In honor of our Veterans, the American Legion Auxiliary members will be distributing Poppies on Saturday, November 11th. We will be at Bomgaards, Fareway and Hy-Vee. We invite all people to wear a Veteran made Poppy to show your appreciation for all those that have or are presently serving our country for our freedom. All funds received are used for the Veterans.

Classic Movie Monday

the Fairmont Library will hold “Classic Movie Monday” at 1 p.m. Monday. The show will be “roman Holiday.” Popcorn and water will be served.

Mini Monday at Library

Fairmont Library will hold a story and playtime 10 a.m. Monday for ages birth to 5 and an adult caregiver. There is no cost to attend and no registration is required.
