Prairie Star Quilt Guild meets

The Prairie Star Quilt Guild will meet Monday, November13, 2023 at the Fairmont Evangelical Covenant Church, 901 Woodland Ave., Fairmont, Minn. There will be a sewing day beginning at 9 a.m. and everyone is invited to bring a quilting project and enjoy the fellowship of sharing the morning with friends who quilt. We will also have a potluck lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m. and all members are encouraged to come and bring a dish to pass even if you don’t sew. The quilt board will meet beginning at 12:30 p.m. and the regular meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. The evening group will meet at Jake’s Pizza at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact Guild President, Greta Lintelman at (507) 238-4192.

Hospital retirees meet

Fairmont Community Hospital retirees will hold their November luncheon 11 a.m., Monday, at Best Western-Green Mill. Please note that we will be back out at Green Mill. All persons who have worked at FCH are invited to attend.

Red Rock to host KIDCASSO

Red Rock Center for the Arts will host KIDCASSO 9-11 a.m. Saturday. This is an open art studio experience for toddlers – elementary age. Come and enjoy some Thanksgiving-themed arts and crafts. No pre-registration is required.

Community Coffee Party to be held
