Worship Center plans breakfast

Regional Worship Center in Sherburn will host a community breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Monday at its facility located at 2 Crossroads Drive in Sherburn. They will not serve a buffet. The meal will be served as ordered. Donations accepted. Everyone is invited.

Informational seminar Thursday

Thrivent Education Specialists from Fairmont and Blue Earth will host an informational seminar from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Thursday in the gymnasium at Martin Luther High School in Northrop. The seminar will show how to utilize a $500 Minnesota tax credit using a tuition savings plan. Parents and grandparents can take advantage of the new tax law changes when saving for K-12 parochial and college tuition. A catered supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. The event is free but guests must pre-register before Sept. 22 by calling (507) 436-5249.

Blood drive slated in Elmore

There will be a Red Cross blood drive from 1-7 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Elmore. To make an appointment or learn more, download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call (800) 733 2767. The Red Cross encourages completion of a RapidPass online health questionanaire to help speed the donation process.
