Chubb House announces postponement

The Chubb House Tea and Bake Sale originally planned for today has been postponed because of the anticipated snowstorm. The event will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 8.

Bramstedt benefit postponed

A pancake benefit for Martin County West student Mint Bramstedt slated for Sunday has been postponed until Dec. 9. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Class of 1960 to meet

Fairmont High School class of 1960, spouses and guests will meet for lunch 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Pizza Ranch, Fairmont.

3M employees to meet

3M employees, past and present, will meet for lunch noon Tuesday at Green Mill Restaurant, Fairmont.

Fairmont Community blood drive slated

The American Red Cross will hold a Fairmont community blood drive from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in the Budd Room at the Fairmont Holiday Inn. All presenting donors will receive a $5 food coupon for Green Mill. For appointments, call (800) 733-2767 or online at www.redcrossblood.org and enter sponsor code FAIRMONTMN. Blood donors of all types are needed, especially those with AB negative, O negative, A negative and B negative.

Bowl-a-thon planned next weekend

A muscular dystrophy bowl-a-thon will be held at noon Dec. 9 at Bowlmor Lanes in Fairmont. Four-person teams ($20 per person) will bowl three games of 9 pin, no-tap. Shoe rental not included. There will be raffles, prizes and cash payback. For registration, contact Cory or Tyler at Fairmont Fareway by calling (507) 238-4737. Everyone is invited.
