FAIRMONT — Denver Hertling and Brandon Splinter announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the couple are John and Deb Hertling of New Ulm, Chris and Dereck Bartz of Northrop, and Dale Splinter of Fairmont.

Denver graduated from New Ulm High School in 2013, and Presentation College in 2017, with an RN-BSN degree. She is employed at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont and UHD Hospital in Blue Earth.

Brandon graduated from Fairmont High School in 2010, and South Dakota State University in 2014, with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture. He is a sales representative with Pioneer Seeds and self-employed as a farmer in Fairmont.

An Aug. 10 wedding is planned at New Ulm.
