MADELIA — A vehicle accident near the House of Print facility late Wednesday afternoon forced the cancellation of Thursday’s print edition after a utility pole was destroyed, cutting power to the facility for 14 hours. The collision, which occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday, severed lines and left the plant without electricity until 7 a.m. Thursday.
