MANKATO — Motorists traveling on Hwy 169 between Blue Earth and Elmore are advised to expect lane restrictions and brief delays as a resurfacing project begins Monday, April 25. Nine miles of Hwy 169 from Faribault County Road 52 near Blue Earth to the northern limits of Elmore will be resurfaced. Monday, April 18 5:25 a.m. — A one vehicle accident on Highway 15 near mile post 19 in Westford Township, Martin County, resulted in non-life threatening injuries to the person who was involved. According to the State Patrol: A 2015 Kenworth Tractor driven by Thomas Llewellyn Bahn, 59, of Cottonwood, Minn., was traveling southbound on Highway 15 when it went off the road and rolled into a ditch. JACKSON — The westbound Interstate 90 Des Moines River rest area near Jackson will be closed starting the week of Monday, April 25, for reconstruction of the parking lots and ramps, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The rest area is anticipated to partially re-open to the public in late-May, after reconstruction of the car parking lot and I-90 entrance and exit ramps is complete. MANKATO — Construction on Hwy 15/60 near Madelia is expected to begin Monday, April 18, weather permitting, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. MnDOT will resurface seven miles of Hwy 15/60 from the Hwy 15/60 interchange south of Madelia to the Hwy 15/60 interchange north of Madelia.
