FAIRMONT — Fairmont residents who would like to grow their own garden but do not have adequate space can sign up for a free garden plot with Rural Advantage. Garden plots are 20-by-20 feet. Once plot designation is completed later this spring, the plot is the individual’s or family’s to care for the balance of the growing season. Each family plants, cares and harvests its own plot.
