Meals are served at Friendship Village at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. Milk is served each day. The menu is subject to change.

FAIRMONT

Monday — Molasses pork loin, stuffing, gravy, broccoli, cauliflower, dinner roll, applesauce, cranberry fluff, milk. Alternate: Fried chicken.

Tuesday — Harvest turkey bowl, buttered peas, dinner roll, Mandarin oranges, spice cookie, milk. Alternate: Smothered pork loin chop.

Wednesday — Lasagna, green beans, garlic toast, Mandarin oranges, pumpkin earthquake cake, milk. Alternate: Twice-baked Thanksgiving dinner.

Thursday — Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, maple-roasted Brussels sprouts, squash, bread, butter, fruit cocktail, strawberry shortcake, milk. Alternate: Lasagna.

Friday — Catch of the Day, cheesy mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, bread, butter, pears, apple cobbler, butterscotch sauce, milk. Alternate: Fried chicken.

LSS MEALS ON WHEELS (in partnership with Heartland Senior Living in Truman)

Meals on Wheels in Truman helps older adults maintain good health and remain living at home, by providing hot, nutritious meals Monday through Friday, as well as a friendly visit and safety check for Minnesotans age 60 and older. Note: The menu is subject to change due to supplier issues. To sign up for the program or for further information, call Holly at (507) 776-2031.

IN BLUE EARTH

Meals are served at Blue Earth Senior Center from noon Monday through Friday. Milk and bread are served each day. The menu is subject to change. Meals are catered by St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. The cost is $4 to eat in and $6.50 to take out.

Monday — Pork chop, cheesy hashbrowns, winter blend, pears, bread, milk.

Tuesday — Steak-um sandwich, potato wedges, coleslaw, poke cake, bread, milk.

Hot Meals on Wheels is available Monday through Saturday for convalescents and persons who cannot purchase and prepare adequate meals. This is a community project and is non-profit and not government-funded.
