Thank you, St. Paul youth
To the Editor:
On behalf of Red Rock Center for the Arts in Fairmont, I would like to thank Michael Kutch and the youth from St. Paul Lutheran School who helped with the Valentine Dinner.
It had been several years since we had done the Valentine Dinner, and with their help we were able to bring back this wonderful event with a dinner, fellowship and a string duo. We certainly could not have done it without all of them, and to all the individuals who attended to make it a truly special evening to remember, thank you.

Thanks to community
To the Editor:
I would like to extend a special thank you to the Fairmont community for its support of the blood drive held last week.
With the severe winter weather, blood donations have been down. Thanks to all the Fairmont donors who listened to our call for help and thanks to the Sentinel and Photo Press for their help communicating the details of the blood drive.
Here are the results:
o Tuesday, Feb. 19 — 105 units collected
o Wednesday, Feb. 20 — 58 units collected
o Thursday, Feb. 21 — 43 units collected
In total, 206 units were collected on the goal of 218. This was an extra effort by the community to come out in the challenging weather to donate blood.
Special thank you to all the volunteers working in the canteen and greeter areas and to the Holiday Inn/Green Mill for the fine facilities and great staff. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
