It’s Homecoming week

Homecoming has been a carried on tradition for American high schools and colleges for as long as anyone can remember. Homecoming is a time for students, staff, alumni and community to come together in school spirit. This special week consists of many heartfelt traditions that we hope everyone will take a part in.

Fairmont High School will have a busy Homecoming week beginning with our Fair and Feed today. We will have food and carnival games, and then later will be the infamous Ironman and Powderpuff games.

Throughout the week, there will be Cardinal home games at which we will cheer on our athletes. Finally on Friday, our busiest and yet our most exciting day of Homecoming, we will have our pepfest, parade at 4 p.m., and then the big football game to end the week spectacularly.

We hope that as a community and student body, we will make this our best Fairmont homecoming to date. So, cheer on the Cardinals and have a great week.
