John V. Hilgendorf

FAIRMONT — A celebration of life service for John Victor Hilgendorf, 91, of Fairmont, Minn., formerly of rural Welcome, Minn., will be held 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fraser Township, rural Fairmont. Burial and military honors will be held at a later date in the church cemetery in rural Fairmont.                Hilgendorf passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 16, 2022, at his home in Fairmont. Visitation will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fraser Township, rural Fairmont. Kramer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

YELM, Wash. — James A. Roberts, 72, of Yelm, Wash., formerly of Fairmont, Minn., and Welcome, Minn., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Olympia, Wash. A funeral service for him will be held June 27, 2022, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. ...

ST. JAMES — A service of remembrance for Kirsten “Davison” M. Wicksell, 55, of St. James, Minn., formerly of Trimont, Minn., will be held 2 p.m. on April 12, 2022, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont. A private family burial will take place prior to the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, rural Trimont. Wicksell passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 12, 2022, at her home in St. James. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

FAIRMONT — Duane C. Belseth, age 85, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022. A celebration of life for Duane will be held this summer. Duane was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Mason City, Iowa, to Kenneth and Susie (Beisel) Belseth. Cards may be sent to 875 Redwood Dr., Fairmont, MN 56031.

FAIRMONT — A funeral service for Eva M. Bickel, 99, of Fairmont, will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Fairmont. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn. Bickel passed away Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 18, 2022, at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.
