Eunice passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 29, 2022, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

Eunice Marian (Unke) Bulfer was born May 24, 1919, in Rutland Township, Martin County, Minn., the daughter of Irvin and Lena (Stock) Unke. Eunice graduated from Fairmont High School in 1936.

On Nov. 12, 1939, Eunice was united in marriage to Arthur Zoeller in Fairmont. The couple resided on the farm in Silver Lake Township until moving to Cadillac Avenue in Fairmont in 1974. This union was blessed with three children, Sharon, Fred, and Linda. Eunice and Arthur shared forty-four years together before Arthur passed away on Dec. 9, 1983. On May 19, 2001, Eunice was united in marriage to Louis Bulfer Sr. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Some of her happiest years were spent with Louis. They shared 14 years together before Louis passed away on Sept. 23, 2015. Before getting married to Arthur, Eunice worked as a telephone operator as well as a secretary at the Martin County Courthouse. She later worked at Stokely-VanCamp where she earned many promotions for all of her hard work. During her free time, Eunice enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a good cook who was always ready to feed you. She also played the piano at home as well as at the church where she was raised. She was a very kind and loving person who always loved to talk and visit and tell stories. Eunice’s long-term memory was the best that most have ever seen. Left to cherish her memory include her daughter-in-law, Charleen Zoeller; grandchildren, Tammy (Todd) Cox, Jamee (Tara) Bohlsen, Jason (Heather) Zoeller, and Jana Zoeller; great-grandchildren, Lacie, Serina, Michael, Sabrina, Garrett, Gage, Parker, Sutton, Hunter, Cedar, Matt, and Oakley; great-great-grandchildren, Lauren, Mylah and Alayna; brothers, Rolland (Shirley) Unke, Willis (Martha) Unke, and Wayne Unke; numerous stepchildren and their families; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
