MINNEAPOLIS — Irene Dolores (Sorlie) Shoen, age 88, formerly of Truman, died Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in Minneapolis. Irene was born in 1934, to Harold and Ann Sorlie, in Koochiching County, Minn. The family lived in Norden, Minn. until 1936 when they moved to Hines, Minn. Irene attended Hines Country School and Blackduck High School. She subsequently attended Bemidji State University. Irene lived in Minneapolis, Minn., and San Francisco, Calif., where she worked for the American Hardware Insurance Company. In 1958, Irene married Robert Shoen of Truman.
