EAST CHAIN — A memorial service for Lawrence “Larry” G. Whitman, 93, of East Chain, Minn., will be held 10:30 a.m. on April 19, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, East Chain, Minn. Whitman passed away Friday afternoon, April 7, 2023, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. April 18, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, and one hour prior to the service April 19 at the funeral home. Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont is assisting the family with arrangements.

DEER RIVER — Allen William Wink, 83, of Deer River, Minn., formerly of Welcome, Minn., died Monday, March 13, 2023. A memorial service with full military honors for him was held March 25 at Koop Funeral Home in Crosby, Minn. Burial will be held at a later date in Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby, Minn.
