ENUMCLAW, Wash. — Dr. V.H. Gardner, Jr., died Monday, April 10, 2023, in Enumclaw, Wash. He was 98 years old. Victor was a 1942 graduate of Fairmont High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 2 years in the European Theater during WWII. Victor earned a medical degree from the University of Iowa and a residency in orthopaedics from the Mayo Clinic. He practiced medicine with his father, Dr. V.H. Gardner, Sr., in Fairmont at one time.
