Winkelman passed away Sunday morning, Dec. 19, 2021, at his home in rural Ormsby, Minn. Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont is in charge of arrangements.

DeWayne Lyle Winkelman was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Galena Township, rural Ormsby, Minn., to Henry and Eleanore (Krause) Winkelman. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 at Ford Hood, Texas, and was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary; son, Michael; daughter, Leah Sandbo; six grandchildren; stepbrother, David; many other relatives and friends.
