Don shared 64 years together. As an adult she was proud of starting her own balloon bouquet business. She was an excellent seamstress. Lorraine enjoyed doing crafts and refurbishing furniture. She helped out a lot of people over the years by giving them shelter and employing people. She was always there to help no matter what, and her house was always open to whoever. Left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Charles Howerter of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Chris Howerter (Tom) of Minneapolis, Minn., Chad Wolter of Coon Rapids, Minn., Danette Hoeft (Jeffrey) of Coon Rapids, Tonya Schmitz (Monty Johnson) of Kenyon, Minn., Dominick Wolter (Leah) of Coon Rapids, Melissa Fox of New London, Minn., Daniel Weerts of New London, Minn., and Jeremiah Weerts; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jeanne Leet (Kenneth) of Waseca, Minn., Linda Dahl (Marlin) of Granada, Minn., sister-in-law, Mollie Wolter of Fairmont, Minn.; James Weerts (Lynell) of Burbank, Calif.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, Harry and Elsie Wolter, Lorraine was also preceded in death by her children, Diana Howerter, Danny Weerts, Gary Weerts, and Lonnie Weerts; son-in-law, Chuck Howerter; brother, Dean Wolter; brothers-in-law, Ralph Weerts, Ralph Kuiper,and Robert Weis; sisters-in-law, Althea Kuiper, Donna Weis, Norma Weerts, Donna Willette; and nephew, Tim Wolter.
